Robyn’s alma mater and academic home.
Robyn teaches undergraduates in the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (HAPP) and open-learning students.
Her QUB open learning courses are available to book via the Events page.
She also teaches history of medicine and public health to future doctors in the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences.

Robyn works with the NI War Memorial Museum to deliver engaging events for children and adults.
Events for 2025 included Women on the Home Front: A Hands-On History Workshop and Wrens, WAAF and Wardens: Women During the War delivered in association with PRONI
Each year Robyn puts on a range of events in partnership with the NI Science festival. The festival is often the busiest few weeks in Robyn’s calendar!
For 2025 Robyn’s events included a few (sold out) outings of Pox, Plagues and Paupers: Horrible Histories of Belfast and Call the Midwife! A Brief History of Pregnancy and Childbirth
